Our Commitment
We take accuracy seriously. When errors are identified in a report, we correct them promptly and make the nature of substantive changes clear to readers.
What We Correct
- Factual errors such as incorrect statistics, dates, definitions, or citations.
- Clarifications where language could be misinterpreted or lacks context.
- Updates where new evidence or guidance changes our understanding of a topic.
How We Correct
- Minor edits that do not change meaning may be made without a note.
- Substantive corrections or clarifications may include an editor’s note explaining what changed and why.
- When a report’s medical review is updated, the “Last reviewed” information is refreshed and, if needed, an editor’s note is added.
Versioning And Timestamps
Each report displays “Last reviewed” and, where applicable, “Last updated.” These reflect the most recent medical or editorial review relevant to the report.
How To Request A Correction
If you believe a report contains an error, please email contact@honesthealthpublishing.com with the report URL, the passage in question, and any supporting sources. We will review and respond as appropriate.

Hi there Insider! Eleanor here... I’m a former consultant neurologist who practiced in London, England for nearly forty years.
Throughout my career, I saw patients and families drowning in medical jargon... scared, frustrated, and desperate to understand what was happening to their loved ones.
When I retired, I made a promise to myself... I would spend the rest of my life translating neuroscience into language that feels human.
Thank heavens a former colleague introduced me to Michael at a conference in Spain... it was his idea to join forces and start an online venture to spread our work as far and wide as possible.
My hope is that you never feel lost or alone when you read our words... they were written with you in mind by two retired doctors who truly care.

Greetings fellow Insider! My name’s Michael and I practiced family medicine for more than three decades in Portland, Oregon... caring for patients through every stage of life.
When my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, I realized just how much confusion and fear surround brain health.
I started writing simple letters for my patients explaining what was really happening... those letters grew into the reports we publish today.
When I met Eleanor at a brain-aging conference in 2019, we realized we shared the same frustration... and the same hope.
We both wanted to build something honest... a place where people could find truth without losing heart.
